Being recently formed in November 2023 , Ben Denny Mo on Vocals and guitar, Richard King (Spiritbomb) on Bass and Alan Casha on drums. Barefoot Lions are a unique fuse of ska, reggae, drum and bass, funk and soul sounds. Within the music there is a high degree of improvisation and freestyling, with a lot of the songs being created live on stage. The Barefoot lions played the biggest festivals in Malta in 2024 , including Boomerang, Earth Garden and Votex, playing along side the Dub Pistols and Tippa Irie. They have also appeared on Backstage TV on TVM doing 3 songs live and an interview.
